We’re Xelix, an AI-powered Control Centre for Accounts Payable teams. We work with some of the largest global companies to automate and enhance their financial control processes. About the role

We are now hiring for an experienced and motivated Senior React Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will implement user interface components using modern React best practices, ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.

At Xelix, rather than give you a detailed set of requirements, we encourage our engineers to take responsibility for solving the problem. There are many opportunities to innovate as you collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new features.

What you'll be doing

• Uphold a high level of quality throughout the front-end codebase, through the delivery of new features and keen-eyed PR reviews.

• Aid in the planning and delivery of impactful architecture decisions.

• Proactively identify and address areas of technical debt which may block the wider front-end team.

• Identify performance bottlenecks through quantifiable analysis and implement performance improvement strategies.

• Mentoring other team members, sharing knowledge and experience, and helping improve our team's abilities in the process.

• Work closely with the design and UX teams to ensure the components you build adhere to specifications and modern accessibility standards.

What you’ll bring

• Expert knowledge of modern syntax Typescript and React.

• Experience working with observability tools to track application health (Sentry).

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent understanding of the complete software development life cycle.

• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.

• Passionate about testing, rapid iteration and collaborative problem solving. (e2e, unit tests, integration tests)

• A demonstrated interest in providing mentorship and advice to others in your team.

Big Plus Points

• An interest and aptitude in data visualisation, transforming complex datasets into intuitive visual representations.

• Skills in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, demonstrating a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to user journeys.

• Any experience working with frontend mono-repos (TurboRepo, Nx)

• Experience building and distributing component libraries using modern tooling (Storybook, Chromatic)

• Experience working with CI/CD integrations

💰 Competitive salary of £75,000.00 to £85,000.00 depending on experience
