Position Summary:

As a Technical Product Manager at Plinqit, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical evolution of our product platform. You will translate complex business goals into clear technical requirements alongside our engineering and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. You will ensure that our platform architecture, integrations, and APIs align with our strategic objectives, regulatory standards, and client goals.

What you’ll do…
Technical Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define and prioritize platform-level initiatives based on business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate system design, scalability, and reliability.
  • Conduct market research, evaluate new frameworks or APIs, and identify opportunities for innovation in data exchange, automation, and fintech integrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and the client success teams to ensure alignment for execution of the product roadmap.
  • Work with our engineering team to translate product requirements into actionable user stories, technical specifications, and development tasks.
  • Partner with our design team to create user interfaces and user-friendly experiences that increase engagement.
Technical Product Development and Release Management
  • Work with the technical leadership team to align our agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog and release management.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and take proactive measures to address issues and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with a QA team which will combine automated and manual testing and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) across the platforms and products.
  • Gather feedback from internal stakeholders, end users and external business clients (banks and credit unions) to validate product functionality.
Product Performance and Optimization
  • Define key metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of product features and initiatives.
  • Analyze product usage data, end user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Iterate product features using data-driven decision-making to maximize customer satisfaction and business impact.
Customer Engagement and Support
  • Engage with clients and partners to understand their needs, gather feedback, and validate product ideas and prototypes.
  • Support go-to-market activities ensuring internal and external readiness and successful implementation.
  • Create and maintain clear, client-facing documentation to support product adoption and understanding.
  • Work with our client success and end user support team to handle product inquiries, issues, and suggestions in an efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with our Chief of Staff and marketing team to promote our products internally and externally through presentations, demos, webinars, and other marketing and sales enablement activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a product manager, product owner, or similar role in a technology-driven organization, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of fintech trends, financial services, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on banking, payments, or personal finance.
  • Experience working in agile development environments, with proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage projects and break down complex initiatives into clear, executable tasks.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing software products from concept to commercialization.
  • Technical background or familiarity with APIs, data analytics, and software development processes is a plus.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement. It provides the flexibility to work remotely along with time to be in-office as needed and for training, meetings and presentations. This position also includes occasional travel for conferences and meetings.
