• Perform licensed hygiene procedures, patient education, and manage the nonsurgical periodontal program under the dentist's supervision.
• Establish and maintain ongoing patient care relationships, verify health histories, and educate patients on oral hygiene and available treatments.
• Conduct clinical duties such as x-rays, blood pressure checks, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and assist in restorative assessments.
• Provide sealants, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
• Qualifications include a valid dental hygiene certification, current license, and experience with dental software. Ongoing compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control is required.
