The registered professional nurse (RN II) in the Medical Oncology department is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, evaluation, and documentation.

• Ensures effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism.
• Coordinates patient teaching, safety initiatives, and supports health team activities while maintaining professional standards.
• Completes annual competencies, department-specific skills, and contributes to department initiatives like peer reviews and patient satisfaction.
• Requires Associates Degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and relevant specialty certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates competency in caring for patients across all stages of development, using the nursing process.
