Assists professional nurses in caring for hospitalized patients under supervision.

• Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and a current New Mexico LPN license.
• Certifications include BLS within 2 weeks and others within 6 months; LPN IV Therapy preferred.
• Must pass LPN skills competency; fluent in English; six months hospital experience required.
• Works under supervision of Manager or Director in a clean, ventilated, smoke-free environment.
• Handles bloodborne pathogen exposure in various areas; physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Subject to stressful situations and flexible hours due to emergencies.
