The Wound Care Nurse provides clinical consultation and support for complex wound, pressure ulcer, ostomy, fistula, and incontinence management, ensuring evidence-based practices for skin integrity and wound care.

• Responsibilities include managing wound care programs, monitoring patient outcomes, and developing educational programs for patients and staff.
• Requires RN graduation from an accredited program, current NM license, BLS certification, and preferred specialty wound care certification (CWCN, CWON, CWOCN).
• Strong communication, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• At least two years of acute care experience with managing complex wounds and ostomies is required.
• Supervised by Wound Care leadership, the role involves exposure to infectious diseases, emergency situations, and requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and knowledge of hospital equipment.
