The Clinical Nurse in the Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) provides comprehensive patient care throughout the care episode, focusing on discharge readiness and care transitions.

• Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing emergency and primary care.
• Collaborates with the team to develop and execute individualized care plans, directs ancillary staff, and maintains care standards.
• Minimum qualifications: graduate of a recognized nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, 1-3 years clinical RN experience, including at least 1 year in telemetry or ICU.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and commitment to compassionate, competent patient care are essential.
  
  

Salary range is $76,396.32 - $126,730.61, with an hourly range of $36.73 - $60.93.
