The Registered Nurse coordinates patient care tailored to the specific age group, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality services aligned with unit standards and organizational goals.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license (NM or Compact) and BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire.
• Additional certifications must be obtained within 6 months, with ongoing maintenance if already held.
• Possesses current knowledge of patient care and effective communication skills appropriate to patient development stages.
• Reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in a clean, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious diseases and emergencies.
• Requires physical ability to handle emergencies, stand/walk extensively, and perform patient transfers, with manual dexterity and visual acuity within normal limits.
